A Special Police Operation of Searching for People and The Dead Bodies Is Underway in Irpin

A special police operation is being carried out in Irpin, which has been liberated from the occupiers. This was announced by the Chief of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov.

As it became known, employees of the National Police of Ukraine are working on the spot in coordination with territorial defense units, rescuers and representatives of local authorities.

Andriy Nebytov noted that people who remained in Irpin are currently being searched for and the bodies of the dead are being taken out.

“It is very important to go through virtually every house, to get into every home, because we understand that people can stay under the rubble, there can be lonely elderly people in apartments, who, unfortunately, could not move on their own. We examine the bodies of citizens who, unfortunately, died, take them to the morgue for forensic examinations and subsequent burial. Our main task is to save the people who remained in the city”, Andriy Nebytov said.
