A Psychological Support Group Was Set Up in Irpin
A psychological support group was set up in Irpin. The deputy of the Irpin city council Anton Golovenko reported about it on the page on Facebook.
As it became known, the meetings of the MUTUAL SUPPORT group will take place in the reading room of the Irpin City Public Library at 3A Shevchenko Street every Wednesday and Saturday from 15:00 to 17:00.
“The psychological support group is a meeting of up to 10 participants and a psychologist, who together create a space of trust and psychological security to share pain, receive support and advice, listen to others, and give support, respond to pain or feelings of another person”, said the deputy.
Anyone who meets the criteria can participate:
- wants to get support or support others;
- faced with experiences that are difficult to cope with on their own;
- wants to finally speak out and be heard;
- feels lonely;
- has no one to share with what is happening inside;
- wants to understand what is happening to them;
- get the help of a qualified psychologist;
- learn to better cope with their emotions, understand them;
- gather a bunch of thoughts, understand and accept what is happening;
- relieve emotional tension;
- learn to better hear and understand other people;
- to feel the power of the group, to unite with those who experience similar things;
- to feel the resource for further struggle on its front in this difficult situation in Ukraine.
Meetings in live format will be conducted by Victoria Semko – a qualified, practicing, certified psychologist with experience in group classes and communication activities.
