The Prime Minister of Finland Visited Irpin

The Prime Minister of Finland, the leader of the Social Democratic Party Sanna Marin, visited Irpin. This was announced by the Secretary of the Irpin City Council Angela Makeyeva on her Facebook page (video).

“Today in Irpin Sanna Marin is on an official visit – Prime Minister of Finland, Chairman of the Social Democratic Party. She was shown the consequences of the ‘Russian world’ left behind by the occupiers”, Makeyeva said.

She added that during the meeting they discussed assistance in rebuilding the city, “Irpin suffered the greatest destruction, more than 70% of the city, and became a shield of Kyiv”.

“Thank you for your unwavering international position on Ukraine’s territorial integrity, for tougher sanctions against Russia, for military support and assistance. Only by joint efforts will we win over Russia’s evil! Together to victory”, Angela Makeyeva summed up.

It will be recalled that Krakow City Council deputies and volunteers recently visited Irpin.
