In the Kyiv Region, 65 Kindergartens Have Opened In Person
In the Kyiv region, 65 pre-school institutions have been established, of which 53 are communally-owned and 12 are private. This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, all preschool institutions in the Kyiv region have been forced to switch to distance learning. To date, according to the statements of parents and with the consent of local military administrations, we have managed to restore the full-time work of 53 preschools of communal and 12 private forms of ownership”, said Zhanna Osypenko, Deputy Head of KRMA.
As it became known, in all settlements where there was a need, 168 next groups were formed. They included more than 2,300 preschool children.
In addition, 297 pre-school institutions in the region continue to operate on a distance basis, with almost 12,000 children receiving education. 637 of them are from families of internally displaced persons.
Also, the Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration noted that on May 27 the educational process was completed in 149 schools of Bila Tserkva, Boryspil, Bucha and Brovary districts. Starting tomorrow, May 31, 199 schools in all districts of the region will graduate. All other general secondary education institutions will complete the school year from June 3 to June 24, depending on the date of resumption of the distance education process.
