Fundraising For the Operation of the Irpin Embroiderer Continues

Fundraising for the operation of Irpin embroiderer Ivan Ryabchuk continues. This was announced by the director of the Irpin Museum of History and Local Lore Anatoliy Zborovsky.

As it became known, 45 thousand hryvnias were collected for the operation, another 20 thousand hryvnias remained to be collected.

“Many people responded to the call to raise money for the talented embroiderer Ivan Ivanovich Ryabchuk from the city of Irpin in the Kyiv region for a heart valve replacement operation. 45 thousand hryvnias were collected. But another 20,000 are needed. The operation costs 65 thousand hryvnias. I appeal to all good people for the second time. The exhibition “Embroidered Kobzar” (poems by Taras Shevchenko embroidered by Ivan Ryabchuk) was exhibited in many cities of Ukraine and abroad. Ivan Ivanovych delighted many admirers of Ukrainian art with his work. Let’s not be indifferent. Let’s save the life of a talented master”, Zborovsky said.
