The Mayor of Irpin Met With the Ambassador of Ukraine to France
Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn met with Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko. This was announced by the mayor in the Telegram.
“Just as part of the official delegation of Kyiv region headed by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna, together with the coordinator of the Humanitarian Staff of Irpin Petro Shcherbyna met with Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko” Markushyn wrote.
He noted that during the meeting “we discussed possible options for assistance to Irpin by France for the immediate reconstruction of housing and social infrastructure of the city”.
“Once again, it was stressed that Irpin suffered the greatest destruction among the cities of Kyiv region as a result of Russian aggression and needs the most funding for operational recovery. This primarily applies to schools, kindergartens and, of course, housing for Irpin residents who have lost it”, said the mayor.
It will be recalled that Oleksandr Markushyn and Volodymyr Karplyuk recently met in Brussels with the representative of Ukraine to the European Union Vsevolod Chentsov.
