Irpin Embroiderer Needs Help With Surgery
Irpin embroiderer Ivan Ryabchuk needs help with heart surgery. This was announced by the director of the Irpin Museum of History and Local Lore Anatoliy Zborovsky.
As it became known, the cost of the operation is 65,000 hryvnias, the family will not be able to pay for it alone.
“Ivan Ivanovych Ryabchuk from the city of Irpin in the Kyiv region embroidered more than 60 poems by Taras Shevchenko. His exhibition “Embroidered Kobzar” was successfully exhibited in Kyiv, other cities of Ukraine, as well as in Lithuania and Latvia. Ivan Ryabchuk’s name is included in the book of National Records of Ukraine. His work is marked by many diplomas. Ivan Ivanovych is already 80 years old. He continues to embroider Kobzar. But he needs help. Doctors have concluded that the master can be saved only with a heart surgery. The heart valve needs to be replaced. The cost of such an operation is 65 thousand hryvnias. Ryabchuk does not have such money. He taught choral conducting at the school all his working life and lives on a modest pension. Children also do not have large fortunes. Please help to save the life of a talented person”.
