Dog Training Center in Irpin Resumes Its Work (video)
Kyiv Region Police are actively resuming the work of the Irpin Kennel Club, as a dog service is needed to detect enemy hideouts, weapons, search for explosives, work at checkpoints and restore territories liberated from the occupier (video). This was announced by the Chief of Police of Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov during a visit to the center. He inspected the conditions of service and keeping service dogs, as well as inspected the damage during the fighting in the center.
“An enemy shell hit our building, a strong fire broke out, but due to the fact that police officers were on duty, we managed to extinguish the flames in time and save the premises”, said Andriy Nebytov.
It is known that on March 24 the enemy fired at the dog training center with heavy artillery. The roof of the main building, part of the fence and the roof over the enclosures were damaged. There were 15 dogs in Irpin at the time of the shelling. Subsequently, some of the animals were evacuated, some remained in the center, where police continued to serve and help citizens.
