Japanese Architect Hiroki Matsura Undertook the Restoration of Irpin
Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn and Irpen Investment Council Chairman Volodymyr Karplyuk met with Japanese architect Hiroki Matsura, founder of the international architectural and urban planning bureau “MADMA urbanism+landscape” and “MASA architects”, to discuss the restoration of Irpin. Volodymyr Karplyuk wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“Important issues of restoring the city’s infrastructure destroyed by the Russian occupiers and the development of Irpin were discussed. The meeting resulted in an agreement on cooperation. Later, Hiroki Matsura will be able to present to the city administration “Irpin master plan”, which will emphasize the city features”, wrote Volodymyr Karplyuk, noting that “Hiroki Matsura shared his own vision of modern urban planning and first impressions of the city of Irpin”.
“I was in 10 cities of Ukraine. This is the best city I’ve ever seen. For us, for urban planners, Irpin is a dream city. I understand why young families are moving here”, said Matsura.
The participants of the meeting agreed to cooperate. Later, Hiroki Matsura will be able to present to the city authorities “Irpin master plan”, which will emphasize the city’s features. Volodymyr Spivak, CEO of “Vidvazhni” and MOLODIST investment group, will be the project manager on behalf of the city.
