The First Vice-Speaker of the Riigikogu of the Republic of Estonia Visited Irpin

Hanno Pevkur, the First Vice-Speaker of the Riigikogu of the Republic of Estonia, visited Irpin. This was announced by the Secretary of the Irpin City Council Angela Makeyeva on her Facebook page (video).

“Almost every day I tell foreign guests about the heroism of the defenders of our Irpin, about our tragedy, we discuss the need to help rebuild the city, it’s thousands of houses and dozens of infrastructure facilities destroyed by the occupiers. Today all our efforts are aimed at helping our people, at restoring our Irpin with you. Unfortunately, we cannot rebuild the city at the expense of the local budget. Therefore, we hope for the full support of international partners and believe that the Republic of Estonia will take a direct part in the reconstruction of our city and our country”, said Makeeva.

It will be recalled that a parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Korea headed by Li Jun Sok recently visited Irpin.
