Irpin Firefighters Received Overalls From a German Sister City, Next in Line – a Fire Truck

Irpin firefighters received overalls from the German sister city of Born, and will soon deliver a new fire truck from there to Irpin. This was announced by Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn on his Facebook page.

“Friends are known in trouble. And today we feel it 100%. After the mayor of our German sister city of Born, Ms.Simone Ludtke, saw Irpin destroyed by the rashists, she said with tears in her eyes that she would not leave us in trouble. Our friends from Born are already preparing to hand over another fire truck to Irpin rescuers. And now – our firefighters have received a set of overalls from their German colleagues”, said the mayor of Irpin.

It will be recalled that thanks to Simone Ludtke, almost 200 women and children from Irpin received shelter in the German city of Born.
