Investigative Actions Are Being Carried Out at the Site of the Destruction of “Mriya”: Experts Are Collecting Evidence (video)

The National Police is investigating the destruction of the “Mriya” plane (video). This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

AN-225 “Mriya” was destroyed during artillery fire during an attack by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Forensic specialists, investigators, the police explosives service and representatives of the NSIC are currently working on the site.

Forensic specialists of the investigative units of the National Police together with firefighters of the Kyiv Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conduct an inspection of the scene and collect material evidence.

Based on the evidence gathered at the scene, a number of examinations will be appointed, including explosives and fire.

So far, police have found a significant amount of Russian equipment and other physical evidence.

In addition, police detect explosive devices and dispose of unexploded ordnance dropped by Russian occupiers at the airport.
