Oleksandr Markushyn: It Is Still Dangerous in Irpin, We Are Being Fired Upon from Bucha and Vorzel

Liberated from the occupiers, Irpin continues to be fired upon from the directions of Bucha and Vorzel. Firings are being executed from tanks, «Grads», and mortars. Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn spoke about this during a briefing.

“It is still dangerous in Irpin today, because we are constantly being shelled from Bucha and Vorzel. They shoot from mortars, “Grads”, partly from tanks and small arms. The perimeter of the city is completely controlled by our troops and there are no Russian invaders in the city”, the mayor said.

According to him, there are still many locals in the city. “They are those who did not want to leave and those who remained in the area occupied by the invaders”, said Oleksandr Markushyn.
