Oleksandr Markushyn: There Are Approximately 4 Thousand People Left in Irpin, They Still Need to be Evacuated (video)
There are about 4,000 people left in Irpin who need to be evacuated. Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn told about it on the air of the joint telethon – video.
The mayor said that there were mainly people living in the private sector, but locals were urged to leave the city for their safety. In addition, Oleksandr Markushyn said that when Irpin was awarded the title of “Hero City” – it inspired everyone. “I believe that the President deservedly did it because we are fighting for Ukraine, for our city, for our citizens and for our President”, said the mayor.
Earlier we wrote that Oleksandr Markushyn urged residents not to return to Irpin, because it is dangerous.
It will be recalled that Irpin, liberated from the occupiers, was fired upon again on the night of March 28-29.
