A Police Dog From Irpin Searched for a Retired Man Who Got Lost in the Woods

Late in the evening, a 72-year-old resident of Irpin went for a walk without warning his wife. The woman immediately began searching. This was reported in the press service of the Cynological Police Center in Kyiv region.

The woman was worried because her husband had memory problems caused by the disease and was experiencing stress due to the occupation of the city, during which the couple could not go to safety.

Convinced that she would not find herself, the old woman turned to the police. Dmytro, an employee of the Kyiv Cynological Police Training Center in Kyiv, and his four-legged companion, the German Shepherd Kaira, arrived at the scene at about 1 p.m.

After a long search, the dog found the retired man, who walked a few kilometers, got tired and fell asleep in the woods.

The frozen, exhausted, but unharmed traveler was examined by a doctor, and then taken home. At present, nothing threatens the life and health of the man.

We will remind, cynologists from the defense of Ukraine arrived to the Kyiv region, they will serve in Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel and adjacent territories, and also will be on duty at checkpoints.
