In Gostomel, It Was Forbidden to Visit Cemeteries On Funeral Days

In Gostomel, cemeteries were closed for funeral days due to the danger of mining. The head of the Gostomel village military administration Taras Dumenko said this on the air of the information telethon.

“I ask everyone today not to approach the meeting with those whom you want to remember. Together with the district military administration, we have decided to close all cemeteries in our district on funeral days, to postpone their visits for a certain period before demining before it becomes safe”, Dumenko said.

He urged people to commemorate them at homes or churches, at least this year. “That’s why I ask everyone very much: you can remember your relatives at home, you can remember them in church and you don’t have to visit the graves of your relatives every time, at least this year”, said the head of the Gostomel Military Administration.

It will be recalled that commuter buses between Gostomel and Kyiv will be partially resumed on May 2.
