Reconstruction of the Medical Center Has Started in Makariv

Reconstruction of the primary health care center has started in Makariv, Bucha district. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba in Telegram.

“During the fighting in Kyiv region, the Russian military damaged and destroyed a significant number of social infrastructure facilities, including 80 medical facilities. Two of them were completely destroyed. These are the Makariv Center of Primary Medicine and the Gurivshchyna Medical Outpatient Clinic”, the statement reads.

As it became known, today “A Memorandum of Cooperation” was signed on the reconstruction of the Makariv Center for Primary Health Care.

“I thank the Ministry of Health and Minister Viktor Lyashko, the Kyiv School of Economics Charitable Foundation and its Director Svitlana Denysenko for their assistance in the development of medicine in the Kyiv region. Such a strong partnership will help not only to restore, but also to modernize the medical institutions of Kyiv region damaged during the Russian armed aggression”, Kuleba summed up.

It will be recalled that on May 29, the repair of the bridge over the Irpin River for freight traffic was partially completed in Stoyanka.
