The heroes who died in battle for the city of Irpin were honored at a memorial service. This was announced by Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn on his Facebook page.

“Today, the Irpin community said goodbye to three of its Heroes. Oleksandr Lytkin, Dmytro Pasko, Igor Korotkikh. These are the guys who bravely defended Irpin and its inhabitants to the last breath. We will never forget what they did for each of us and for Ukraine… Eternal memory to our defenders! Six of them are already at the Irpin cemetery… Yuri Kalinin, Vitaliy Gusev, Serhiy Kovalenko… Let’s not forget and we won’t forgive! Heroes do not die”, said the mayor.
