The Railway Bridge from Irpin to Kyiv Will be Restored in May
The railway bridge between Irpin and Kyiv is planned to be restored by May 8. This was announced by the head of the South-Western Railway Andriy Bukin.
“Work on the restoration of the destroyed railway bridge across the Irpin River is already underway. They should be completed in a month – on May 8”, he said.
The bridge was destroyed by the occupiers in early March, when residents were being evacuated from Irpin.
Earlier we wrote that after the Russian invasion in Irpin region 5 bridges were destroyed. Currently, the traffic connection between Irpin and Kyiv is being restored, a temporary crossing over the Irpin River is being arranged, near the destroyed Romanivsky Bridge.
We will remind, Irpin introduced the strengthened curfew till April 11.
