Residents of Irpin Who Have Returned Home Must Cancel Their IDP Certificates

Residents of Irpin who, after February 24, 2022, were forced to leave their homes due to occupation by Russian troops and have now returned home, must revoke their internally displaced person status, if any. This was announced by the deputy of the Irpin city council Pavlo Zbrozhek on his Facebook page.

 

“People with IDP status should notify the body that issued the IDP certificate and write a statement to revoke the certificate and, accordingly, remove themselves from the register. Those who have already returned to their permanent residence in Irpin and were not registered in time, please contact the authority that issued you the certificate (phone, viber, e-mail address) and inform about departure and return”, he wrote.

 

The deputy explains that “this should be done to avoid illegal payments and their return in the future, as well as speed up the re-registration process for those who are entitled to continue payments”.
