40 Victims in the Mass Grave of Bucha are Civilians Who Did Not Resist, But Were Simply Ukrainians, – Andrii Nebytov
The victims of one of the largest burials in Bucha were civilians aged from 40 to 60 (video). The chief of police of the Kyiv area Andrii Nebytov reported about it, the press service of police writes.
During the occupation of Bucha, Russian invaders regularly opened fire on civilians, pedestrians and cyclists. Some civilians were also killed in artillery shelling.
“Among the civilians killed by the occupiers are men and women aged 40 to 60. Bullet wounds to the head and torso were found on the bodies of the victims. Despite the risk and danger, public service workers collected the bodies of the dead and took them to one of the city’s religious institutions. Investigators and criminalists of Kyiv region examined the bodies of the dead and recorded the aggressor’s war crimes. Some of the bodies have already been identified”, the press service quoted Andrii Nebytov as saying.
In the future, the bodies will be sent to the morgue for appropriate examinations and to determine the cause of death.
Earlier we wrote that the human rights organization Amnesty International said that Bucha was just the tip of the iceberg of the brutality of the occupiers.
