A Delegation From the German Episcopal Conference Visited Irpin

A delegation from the German Episcopal Conference, led by Bishop Bertram Johannes Meyer of Augsburg, visited Irpin. This was announced by the Secretary of the Irpin City Council Angela Makeyeva on her Facebook page.

“A delegation of the German Episcopal Conference headed by Bishop Bertram Meyer, head of the External Church Relations Department of the German Episcopal Conference, arrived in Irpin. Bishop Mayer came to visit our Church, which has also suffered at the hands of the occupiers, and to see for himself that there is nothing sacred about Russia. I am very grateful for this visit of solidarity and for your support”, Makeyeva said.

It will be recalled that a delegation of world religious leaders recently visited Irpin.
