People Were Shot, Tanks Overran the Murdered People, Women Were Mocked: the Irpin Mayor Told About the Crimes of the Russian Occupiers in the City

The Irpin mayor spoke about the crimes of the Russian occupiers in the city. The corresponding video was published by the mayor in his Telegram.

Oleksandr Markushyn spoke during an online conference organized by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation and spoke about the crimes of the occupiers.

“Locals said that the occupiers first divided families, took away men and left women and children. The men were taken away in exchange for prisoners. Those who the occupiers did not like were shot. Children died… Many men died… There were inhumane acts when people were shot and then overran by tanks. They looted everything possible from washing machines to lingerie. Women were mocked”, Markushyn said.

It will be recalled that Irpin received a blessing from His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
