Serhiy Tanchynets Told About His Impressions of the Damaged Irpin (video)

Serhiy Tanchynets, the frontman of the band “Bez Obmezhen”, who recently gave a concert in Irpin, spoke about his impressions of the city and the people who currently live there on the air of the joint marathon.

“Impressions are different. The part of the city that is bombed gives negative feelings, because you understand how much grief people have experienced there and how much we will continue to live with that grief. But when we drove into the central part of the city, which is more surviving, people came to us. There was almost no one there for 15 minutes before the start and I was even worried that people were probably still afraid to go out and get together, but in a few minutes, there were a hundred or a few hundred people on the street. They came with the hope to feel safe, at peace, to feel the emotions they felt before that terrible trouble. And already there was a slight concentration of hope, there were light smiles, photos, exchange of pleasant feelings that we all need now. Especially in those places that are now liberated and are gradually returning to normal Ukrainian life”, said Serhiy Tanchynets.

According to the artist, seen during the 59 days of the war, does not give impetus to create. “I confess frankly, I do not like music now and I communicate with colleagues – they do the same. We are now in the rhythm of volunteering. Someone is fighting at the front, someone in the National Police, I’m volunteering and I can’t relax to write. Now I am on a bus, going to the west of Ukraine to load up and after Easter to go in the opposite direction. And creativity is postponed for later”, – the musician emphasized.

It will be recalled that a few days ago the rock band “Bez Obmezhen” performed in Irpin for the residents and sang among the ruins of the Irpin House of Culture.

It will also be recalled that in March the band performed for the Defense Forces and presented them with a guitar.
